Namo Sakkya Muni Buddha.

Dear Friends in the Dhamma,

Today we are here to commemorate the first annual interfaith service of commitment to the work of the United Nations, to mark the opening of the 60th Session of the General Assembly and the World Summit of the heads of State and Government in New York.

Also to perform religious ceremonies to bless the World Leaders who take part in the Summit.

Throughout their long course of duration may all their acts be a complete success. May their procedures be up to date and effective.

Their decisions be impartial and accurate, their projects be excellent and plans flexible, so that they never fail the fellow citizens they serve. With faith, courage and dutiful determination in all their endeavours, may the World Summit Leaders be role models for the entire world.

Ultimately may all their good work and honest efforts bring out rewarding results to the utmost satisfaction of the entire world. May the Blessings of the Noble Triple Gem be with them always.
